Casa Maria Bottero

Spazio presents Casa Maria Bottero / Umberto Riva, a book documenting the iconic Milanese apartment designed by Umberto Riva for his family in the 1960s. Located on the top floor of an eight-story housing cooperative, the project marked Riva’s first major work. In 2023, Maria Bottero guided us through her home, sharing insights into Riva’s poetic design. Accompanied by new photographs by Allegra Martin and Francesco Paleari, the book captures the apartment’s interiors and collected objects, offering a fresh perspective on this architectural gem.
